School
of Engineering at Medway
Networking Student Career Opportunity
Over the last few years, several
Computer Networking graduates from the Medway School of Engineering
have gained full-time employment from Cisco UK. Pleased
with the calibre of our students, Cisco UK are holding two recruitment
events in November 2007 at the Medway School of Engineering. All
Engineering students are welcome to attend although the positions
are primarily aimed at students who have followed the BSc and BEng
Computer Networking degree programmes.
This semester Engineering will host
2 visits from Cisco UK looking to recruit one student for a permanent
position and two interns. The intern will be on a fixed 11 month
contract.
A little later this year, we will host another event aimed at both
Networking and Software Engineering students, so year 3 students should
come along if they are interested in working for Cisco.
Interviews for the positions will take place during January or February
2008
The meetings will take place in the Cisco Lab
at lunchtime Monday and Tuesday - more details closer to the event.
