Configuring a Router
The following checklist is meant to be a guide to setting up a
Cisco router in general.

Whenever you are
designing a network, follow these guidelines to ensure that you have
considered all of the pertinent issues.
1. Create an IP plan from your network diagram
a. Subnetting

2. Cable the equipment as you have indicated in your diagram.
3. Basic router configuration.

6. Configure Routing

c. Dynamic - Pick the routing protocol that best suits the needs
of the network

v) EIGRP
7. Configure ACLs (Access Control Lists).
a. Standard

8. Change WAN encapsulation type
