Please use the Packet Tracer file here to work on your diagram skills for the forthcoming examination.

Network Diagram

You should download the network and transfer all of the details from the network onto A3 paper.
Remember to include the following:

Router names - there are 7 of these
Switch locations - there are 7 of these
Interface descriptions e.g. S0/0/0 or Fa0/1 - there are 19 of these
IP addresses of interfaces including  subnet masks - there are 19 of these
DCE/ DTE information - there are 6 serial links
LAN IP and Subnet masks - there are 7 of these

You do not need to put interface descriptions as you use in config files, this is clear from the diagram.

This means that there are a minimum of 84 pieces of information needed on your diagram.

Don't forget to put your name and today's date on the diagram.


After you have finished, show the diagram to your neighbour to verify you have included all details.
