Yagi Design and
Analysis
Now that you have designed your Yagi-Uda antenna, you will need to
analyse the performance.
You should bear in mind that the overall length of the driven element
must include any lengths due to connection to the shileded coaxial
cable - as shown below.

The Far-field graph for an antenna will show various characteristics,
You may have followed a particular design model, but real-world factors
will adjust the actual pattern produced. Using a paint-type program can
allow you to shade in the frequency response at a given frequency. In
the diagram below, I have shaded the antenna far-field pattern at 2.4
GHz.
