Medway Coursework Handin Details
in Blake 054
These are the guidelines as
supplied by the Student Centre for students studying at Medway only
1. The date you are given to hand in your course work.... is the last
date on which you can hand your work in..... you can hand it in early,
by a day, or two or three
2. The course work hand in room (B054) is now open 08.30 to 16.00.
This means it closes EXACTLY at 16.00. If you arrive at 16.00 you will
be late the door will be locked.
You need to arrive by 15.50 at the latest.
3. If you are a Medway based student, you can only hand your work in at
Medway in room B054.
Greenwich and Avery Hill students have alternative arrangement and in
the main do not hand their work in at this campus.
You are unable to hand in work at Student Centres. If you attempt to do
this you will be turned away
4. If you are late, or you are unable to get to the campus to hand your
work in, you can send your work in by registered post. The work is
receipted as of the day it was posted.
5. If you are not registered, or if you owe fees, you will be unable to
hand in work as the staff in the course work hand in room will be
unable to scan it into the system. If you leave it in the room with
them you will not have a receipt and will be unable to prove you have
handed it in
6. If you hand work to an academic, or push it under his/her door, you
will not have a receipt and will not be able to prove that you handed
in your work
7. You will only be able to print a course work header sheet if you are
fully registered and have the course attached to your student record.
Therefore it is very important for you to look at your record in banner
and make sure that you have all the courses you are studying.....
finding this out the day you attempt to print your course work header
sheet is too late. Please do this in the next week or so. If your
record is not correct come to the student centre to pick up an add/drop
form and follow the usual process.
These seven points are to help you understand your responsibilities
regarding your course work.
If there is a problem with printing in the Drill Hall library, we do
make concessions and alert academics to these problems.
