Cisco Conference, Johannesburg, South Africa, November
2003
I was invited to be a delegate at Cisco's Bi-annual Networking
conference
that was held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South
Africa. Travel involved driving from Chatham to Heathrow Airport - no
mean feat in itself - then an eleven
hour flight to Johannesburg International Airport, followed by a coach ride to the Holiday
Inn Hotel in Johannesburg.
The Sandton Convention Centre is one minute by foot from the hotel and
was the venue for the Cisco conference.
Sunday was day 1 of the conference.
On Sunday night there was a party held at the
nightclub called Kilimanjaro.
Monday was day 2 of the conference.
On Tuesday we went for a trip
around Johannesburg.
When I got back to the hotel I began to pack
my bag for the journey home.
