The Party

On Sunday night we were all invited to a party at a night club called Kilimanjaro. We were driven there in a coach, a journey that lasted about 1/2 an hour.

Upon arrival we were given a drink and had our pictures taken by the Cisco official photographer.

In South Africa, if you want a cigarette, you can't light up in a public place. I thought I would have to go outside, but I was shown to a glass tank that was set aside for smokers and there I could spark up and indulge in my filthy habit.

The band were excellent with a lot of energy, but I don't think that they played for long enough - just two 15 minute spots. Poor loves, perhaps all that drumming wore them out. They are called First Project and I like that sort of percussion.

The food was great and the drink was free, which probably led to lots of people getting extremely drunk.

On the way home, the coach driver went AWOL and I was almost commandeered to drive, but fortunately he turned up in the nick of time.

Finally, we arrived back at the hotel and the staff were so glad to welcome us back.

So, I went up to bed for the next exciting day.
